Fe Del Mundo: An Icon
Ever since I was a kid, I've always dreamt of becoming a scientist. Whenever I play alone or with friends, I imagine myself as a doctor, nurse, or anyone related to science. I am currently taking a course that is related to science and medicine. Luckily, along the way, I met someone who inspired me even more to continue on the journey that I've started. This person is an icon and truly an inspiration, not only for me, but also for everyone. This someone is a woman. She is a woman of science, a great pediatrician, an inventor, and a Filipina. She is Fe Villanueva Del Mundo, the inventor of the bamboo incubator and the founder of the first ever pediatric hospital in the country known as "The Children's Medical Center," now "Fe Del Mundo Medical Center."
